Why is important to keep traditions alive in the Family ??

Christmas is coming soon.. is the season of gathering with the family and share special moments. As the years gone by is getting more difficult to keep Latin Traditions this days.
As a puertorican living  in Florida is been challenging. My family celebrated Santa Claus on the 25th and The Three Kings Day on the 6th, last year my son had class on the sixth, I didn't send him  to school because I want him to celebrated this day, but I started to analyzing about this issue.
Last Christmas my son told me that he was worry that the Three Kings where not going to know his new address since we just move  to Florida and  that he told his friends about the Three Kings and nobody celebrated that day in the USA.
I explain to him that every country has different traditions and that he was born in Puerto Rico and we celebrated this day every year and that now matter where he goes the Three Kings will always follow him that it was very important to always celebrated this day as a memory of the special moments when the Three Kings visited Jesus Christ to bring him gifts as a sign of celebration for his Nativity.

My message  to all the Latin Mom's  is that now matter where you go always celebrate you traditions because if you don't keep them alive ... Who will ???

When Baby and Mommy are sick at the Same Time

It's been almost one week since a took my daughter to the doctor for a cold, so far she has improve a lot but she still have her cold.
The bad part of this is that I got sick also. It's been crazy, my house look like a clinic, I have like three stations with Wipes, Saline drops, Napkins and Sanitizer bottles.
As a mom when your kids get sick you do everything to see them healthy again, but it's horrible when you are sick too. It's been challenging but I'm so bless between my son and my husband they together have been awesome helpers, they do things like bringing medicines, water, and watching my daughter when a rest and work as a team in the household duties.
But the one that really amaze was my eight years old son. I always  try to teach him  to help in the house, clean his room and help to get the garage out with his Dad.He took his role very serious this weekend helping in everything. But still I saw him also worry, so I asked him and said he didn't like to see me sick. Today I went to clean his room and I saw this note, he wrote to God, this make my realizes how important is my role as a Mom too.
In that moment I felt so Move that was
